About Princeps

Princeps Dance Academy is a West London based dance school founded by Mr Marcin Raczynski and Ms Dusanka Narancic.

The school specialises in teaching adults and children Ballroom and Latin American Dance.

Princeps is a Latin word meaning "first in time or order; the first, foremost, chief, the most eminent, distinguished. It was an official title determining the leader in Ancient Rome. With this in mind our priority is to bring the best qualities in every student and assist them to reach their full potential.

Dusanka

Mr Marcin Raczynski is a professional dance teacher, International competitive dancer and a qualified dance championships adjudicator.

Marcin is a Principal teacher at Princeps Dance Academy. He holds full dance qualifications in both Ballroom, Latin and American Smooth and is a member of International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA) and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).

Marcin's experience and teaching approach is in demand among dancers from all levels. He is also an active blogger where he shares his thoughts to help dancers develop further both physically and mentally.

Marcin is a co-founder of marcinlondon.UK.

Ms Dusanka Narancic is the school Managing Director, a business woman, entrepreneur and Amateur dancer currently competing in Pro-Am (Professional - Amateur) National and International competitions in both Ballroom and Latin American dances.

Dusanka completed all IDTA (International Dance Teacher Association) medal examinations and IDTA Pre Associate exam with distinction demonstrating proficiency in both Ballroom and Latin American Dances.

Dusanka focuses on work with absolute Beginners and children. Dusanka is also a co-founder of marcinlondon.UK,

founder of Dancers United, initiator and organizer of

International Ballroom competition The Ice Ball 2019

We pay great attention to technical aspects of dance steps and choreographies as well as making sure that our students feel inspired and determined to develop further.

We teach adults and children from absolute beginners to professional levels and we are an IDTA (International Dance Teachers’ Association) and ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers' of Dancing) accredited school. Our students are able to take graded examination recognized by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator).

We are members of Ballroom Dancers' Federation (BDF), World Dance Council (WDC), IDTA, ISTD, British Dance Council (BDC) and European Mentoring and Coaching Counil (EMCC). We also hold full CRB clearance.
